Georgia Students Seek Inclusive Sex-Ed, Join Trevor’s Youth Advisory Council and More News This Week!

High school students in Dalton, Georgia are becoming advocates for better, more inclusive sex-education programs in their schools. The students believe that abstinence-only sex education is not effective, and also excludes LGBTQ students, since they can’t legally marry.

TIME published an article on Tuesday discussing what is next for gay rights activists, and why it may be time to “rethink their gay-marriage tactics.”

A youth leadership forum in Toronto, Canada, hosted by the Canadian Centre for Diversity, helped student leaders to promote inclusion and embrace diversity.
